Revitalize Potter County

Revitalize Potter County Logo Revitalize Potter County
is a collaborative initiative led by the Potter County Commissioners in partnership with the Planning/GIS/Community Development Department and Planning Commission. Supported by grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) through the Municipal Assistance Program (MAP), the County has engaged Alchemy Accompanied to lead the planning and development process. This forward-looking initiative is designed to strengthen communities across the county through strategic planning, economic development, and inclusive community engagement. Key areas of focus include, but are not limited to, revitalizing main streets, repurposing underutilized properties, enhancing the county’s branding and identity, and increasing access to funding opportunities for local projects.

What sets Revitalize Potter County apart is its commitment to implementation. This is not a plan that will sit on a shelf. The initiative is rooted in collaboration and practical application, with built-in steps for turning ideas into action through short- and long-term goals. By engaging local leaders, residents, youth, and regional partners, the project aims to preserve the unique character of Potter County while promoting long-term growth, sustainability, and overall quality of life.
